How the Speed Challenge Works
A run is ten prompts. For each, type the full phonetic spelling — code words separated by spaces — as fast as you can. Easy serves short common words, Medium serves longer ones, and Hard mixes in booking codes and email addresses, digits included, which is what phonetic spelling is actually for. The clock keeps running through mistakes, so accuracy is speed.
Personal bests per difficulty stay in your browser. Radio operators call fluent, unhesitating spelling good radio discipline — if you can clear Hard without pausing to think, you can spell anything to anyone. New to the alphabet? Warm up with the 26-letter quiz first, or keep the printable chart beside you for the first runs.
