How to Play
Every day at 0000 Zulu (midnight UTC), a new five-letter word goes on the board — the same word for every player worldwide. Its letters are hidden behind their NATO phonetic alphabet code words: see Kilo revealed and you know that slot is a K. You start with one clue and five guesses. Each wrong guess turns over another code word, so the earlier you crack it, the better your score. Solve it and your streak grows; miss it and the streak resets.
Why This Trains Real Recall
Reading a phonetic alphabet chart is passive; decoding under a guess limit is not. To use your clues you must translate code words back to letters instantly — the exact skill you need when someone spells a booking reference over the phone. A few days of Daily Callsign and Whiskey, Oscar, and X-ray stop being trivia and become reflex. One Tip
Work the word, not just the letters. With two clues like R and T in a five-letter frame, there are only so many common English words that fit — guess a likely word instead of waiting for more clues, because a wrong guess still teaches you which slots reveal next.
